Description
Dog Breed: Terrier. Hello there, my name is Mary. I am the absolute cutest girl around with the best personality. Sometimes my mom refers to me as ma-ma, baby seal, pretty girl, and sweet sweet. I enjoy cuddles, loves, pets, and kisses! I ADORE breakfast and dinner time- I do little happy dances because food makes me that happy. I am kennel-trained and potty-trained. I have a cough and take medicine for it so I can't get overly excited. My life will require, relaxation, spa days, pedicures and manicures, couch snuggles, kisses, and chilling out while watching TV. I get along with others, but my mom doesn't let me play too much because I get too excited and start to cough. I do have to be careful around food with other dogs because I tend to be greedy and want it all for myself- however, my mom said I have made huge improvements and with continued training, I should be just fine and will learn how to share. I am the bestest girl- my mom tells me she loves me at least a hundred times a day along with my dad. Don't tell Mom, but I love my daddy a lot. I am looking for someone who will cuddle, relax, and give me the home I deserve. With love, Mary

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
