I am super easy to take care of and have great potty habits. I can rest well in a crate and actually like it, but I seem to have barrier anxiety. I get nervous when dogs or people I don't know I can trust get close to my crate. I might do best without other dogs in the home, but it would just depend on the dog. I haven't had any bad incidents with other dogs, but some pushy dogs make me bark in an angry tone when I'm in my crate. A busy home with small children may not be the best fit. My breed was unknown. My foster mom thought I looked like a Brussels Griffon. She was so curious, she ran a DNA test. Apparently I am a Chihuahua, Shih Tzu, Poodle, Mini Schnauzer, Pug, Yorkshire Terrier Pomeranian, Dachshund mix. Plus a few more breeds that were under 5%. I love to run and play in the yard. I love to roll in the grass. I love to chase balls, I am just a happy little girl. If I know I can trust you, I will love you forever and make you smile.

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
