Posted Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed. DISCLOSURE: The adoptable pets in our program are still in the care and custody of owners who wish to re-home their pet. Owners have enlisted Rescue Well to provide marketing and screening of applicants as a service, free of charge. All fees and adoption conditions are determined by the owner. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting. ***** Zeke is 7yo, weighs 100lbs, is microchipped, but is not neteured or up to date on his vaccinations. Zeke know 'sit', 'paw', 'lay', and 'sit pretty'. He dislikes/fears thunder/fireworks but loves car rides. Zeke's guardian explains why he has made the difficult decision to rehome him: "Living situation and can't be in a multiple animal household." Lunge/Attack incident: In June 2022 Zeke lunged/attacked another resident canine; the skin was not broken and medical attention was not required. Zeke's guardian further explains: "Both dogs were allowed within same fenced yard. Victim dog ran toward Zeke and Zeke was uncomfortable and lunged/attacked her. Took to vet but no actual medical attention needed." Zeke's guardian offers a brief a medical history: "Small growth (pimple like) on left hind leg." Zeke's guardian states the following regarding children: Zeke lives with children (ages less than 1 and up to 9yo) so his guardian recommends his living with children, stating "Energetic to greet but very restrained on how to approach".
