Description
Dog Breed: Belgian Shepherd Malinois. Malort located in WI, says she has perfected her Bojutsu just for you! She is looking for a VERY active home so she can have a sparing partner. Malort is a 3-4 year old female and weighing in at 40ish pounds. She is everything we love about a Mal, she would be perfect for a high endurance sport! She is NOT a wander around and relax in the house dog. She settles well in the kennel, but when its time to come out its GO TIME! She has gotten worlds better with her impulse control and now off leash trained. She lives to run, jump, and grab her toys. She loves a lure, flirt pole, and a good stick. Loves to fetch a durablesquaky toy, but, not into balls. She does not do well with other dogs, can be directed to ignored a cat but will need to be supervised at all times when out of the crate around one. Malort is okay with older kids (Who are dog intelligent). She has a high prey drive but it can be redirected. Again, she has a LOT of energy and LOVES to work. Who does'nt love a good puzzle? Malort needs a home with a job. She will not be content to just cill at home. She is everything we love (and sometimes roll our eyes at) about a Mal in a small, fast package. She will make you work to build the bond/trust but once you have it, watch the sparks fly. Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
