Description
Posted Breed: Hound / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 300. Copy and paste the url to view the YouTube video: youtube/shorts/eIMyqJO6tnU?si=EMCRBfK4_ACqlhTv Luna Way is about 2 years old, an All American Heinz 57 blend of breeds. She's very sweet and loves people, but does not get along well with other dogs, so needs to be an only dog. She needs help with manners, like learning not to jump on people when she's excited. Because of that, she would be better with only older children. If you have the perfect home for Luna Way, please fill out an adoption form for her and someone will get in touch for a meet and greet. For the right home, she'll be a wonderful companion. ~~ Adoption donation $300 . All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and spayed. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Visit .ruffloverescue/adoption and fill out the application to make this pup a member of your family

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
