Dog Breed: Belgian Shepherd Malinois. Tayla is a super sweet girl that was brought into MAD Rescue after her family abandoned her. She is approximately 4 years old and was taken in by a very nice neighbor when her family left her. The neighbor wasn't familiar with the breed and was not suited to take care of her so they reached out to MAD Rescue. The first thing Tayla showed her foster is that she LOVES people and affection! The second thing Tayla made clear, was that she gets jealous of other dogs very easily and would prefer to be an only dog so she can be spoiled with all of your undivided attention and love. #MADLoveTayla Located in the panhandle of FL 4 year old female, spayed and UTD on vaccines Moderate Energy/Drive Very VERY sweet and loving with people! Crate trained, house trained, muzzle trained, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands Loves to play Loves toys and treats Needs slow and proper introductions with new dogs or to be the only dog Untested with cats/kids All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and six month subscription. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport. Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
