Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Adoption Fee: $400. Online Adoption Application › Hi everyone! My name is Parker! I am a 1 year old something mix (likely terrier). If there is one thing you need to know about me, its that I LOVEEE playing with dogs! I am your typical puppy. I love to play and give lovings (especially kisses). My favorite type of toy is... oh I can't decide. I love to play with stuffed toys and balls and kongs and there are just too many to choose. I have this special power. I can find mud ANYWHERE! Even though I look like a terrier, foster mom says I act like a hound. I do have quite a bit of energy but that's nothing a doggy friend and a few walks can't handle. I do accept ear scratches on my play breaks and may even sneak in a few kisses. I am housetrained when taken out on a regular schedule. I may occasionally have accidents but I'm only 9 months old! I am crate trained and really love when you leave me some chew toys or a yummy treat. I am all up to date on my vetting. Now I just need some awesome person to adopt me! Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
