Reef celebrated his first birthday in February and proudly sports a one-of-a-kind look: a stunning copper coat, dark markings along his back and ears, and a black-tipped tail that wags like it’s powered by joy. His DNA results say he’s a mix of toy and miniature poodle — basically the perfect-sized package of fluff, fun, and fabulousness. Reef is what we lovingly call differently-abled. He has a neurological condition that gives him a bit of a wobble and sometimes sends him tumbling — but it doesn’t slow him down one bit. He plays like a pro, zooms like he’s chasing the wind, and lives life with infectious enthusiasm. His favorite thing in the world? A fellow small dog who’s up for nonstop wrestling, chasing, and general puppy antics. He does wear a diaper indoors — Reef isn’t able to fully control his bladder, but the diaper keeps things clean and manageable, and he doesn’t mind it a bit.
