Description
Dog Breed: Boxer / Mixed (short coat). Sable (SC) is a female Boxer mix rescued in South Carolina. Our veterinary partner estimates that Sable is 3 years old at the time of intake in March 2022. Sable is good with people, kids and other dogs. This beautiful girl was picked up as a stray, and it's obvious that life has not been kind to Sable. She suffered from entropion, a painful eye condition, in both eyes which has been surgically repaired. Sable is very sweet, is housetrained, sleeps through the night, is great on a leash and ignores critters as she walks. She is great with smaller children and loves to give kisses to everyone--big or small. Sable has shown no sign of food aggression at her foster home. If you can find a place in your heart for Sable, please apply online to adopt Sable (SC) at .rescuedogsrocknyc. RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue. All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.
