Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed. Hi friends, I’m Twila! I’m a 6-year-old sweetheart on the search for my forever family! My foster mom made a Facebook post about me, and honestly... I’m blushing! But, I have to admit—it’s all 100% true! Here’s what she says about me: A-DOR-A-BLE (Seriously, have you seen my face?) Super smart & quick learner (If there’s a trick to be learned, I’m on it!) House trained with amazing manners (Told you I was smart!) Great on a leash—let’s go for a walk! Friends with everyone (People? Dogs? Love them all!) Calm, quiet, and the ultimate cuddle bug! (Your lap = my happy place ❤️) Jolly ball champion! (Guaranteed to make you laugh!) I love everyone, but a proper meet-and-greet with any furry siblings would be best. You are welcome to email ccrcdogsccrcdogs with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at .ccrcdogs, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
