Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Lucy! Lucy and her sister were dumped in early May at a home that is unable to keep them. They appear to be German shepherd and labrador mixes. While we don't know her precise birthdate, we estimate that Lucy was born in Spring 2023. Although they were very scared at first, the sisters soon began to trust their caretakers and relax a little. Lucy is alert, obedient, and always lets her sister have food first. She is a bit shy at first, but warms up pretty quickly to new people. Lucy is ready for a home of her own with people to dote on her. She is fairly large (about 65 lbs.), so she would do best in a home without small children. Lucy may be okay with friendly dogs and would probably do best in a home without cats.
