Posted Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (short coat). The dogs Arcadia Animal Rescue saves are mainly located in southern states, such as NC, SC, TN and TX. We can transport to most states, through partner networks. Virtual meet n greets can be arranged for all non-local adopters. Meet Cooper! This stunning young boy, Cooper found himself at an overcrowded kill shelter in NC, through no fault of his own. He's only a young pup! Our rescue saved him and placed him in a foster home,but he is ready for his furever home. Cooper is super sweet and affectionate. He is about 11 mths old and is a large boy, still some growing to do too! Not entirely sure of his breed mix, but we think he's got some GSD/Lab/Cur/Staffie mixes in there! He is smart, learns quickly and already knows sit, lay down, go to bed. Sleeps all night in crate, house trained. He absolutely thrives on routine and structure. Cooper is a very active puppy, with lots of energy. He will need plenty of physical and mental activity with his new family. Cooper loves to chew Benebones and he loves peanut butter. He also loves other dogs and people. He gets excited on walks, just wanting to play with everyone! A big fenced yard to run around in to tucker him out a little before walks, and a fursibling or two would be ideal for this boy! Cooper does have a strong prey drive, so no cats!! As he is full of excitement and bouncy, he may accidentally knock over small children, so a home without any small kids! He will need a confident pack leader and a family who will continue his training, teach him new things and integrate him into their lives!
