Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Pug / Mixed (short coat). How to Adopt Meet Beau – Your Energetic, Playful, and Happy-Go-Lucky Chi-Pug! Beau is a Chihuahua-Pug mix with lots of energy and a heart full of love! He’s playful, happy, and loves being around people. His cheerful and easygoing nature makes him the perfect companion for someone looking for a fun, energetic pup to brighten their days. Like all puppies, he will need structure and a patient, loving home. We recommend training for all puppies—not only to give Beau important learning skills, but because you and your puppy will create a stronger bond just by going through the training together. Beau is fully vetted. He has been neutered, received age-appropriate vaccines, and is microchipped. Subsequent vaccines will be at the expense of his adopter. His adoption donation is $600..00. He is on the hunt for his own completely committed family. Little dogs can live to be 20+ years old, so Beau wants to be sure his family is all in for better or for worse! IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 9 MONTHS): You must have a flexible work schedule or someone home all day. Puppies need to be let out to potty often. They need socialization, bonding, and training (housetraining and behavioral training). If you work long hours, have a busy social schedule, or are not financially secure, then a puppy is not for you. We adopt in the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits.
