Sabrina may be what you are looking for. She is a lover of life and adventure. She is estimated to be around a year old and is just a happy go lucky 40ish lb gal. We can only imagine what the first part of her life were like as she found herself in a shelter and on a euthanasia list. Now that she has been in Iowa and has been safe, she has been able to be her playful puppy self and show that she is a true sweetie. She wants to be with you always and wants to go where you go. Car ride? She wants to go. Walk? Always up for one. Curled up on the couch? She'll be there chewing on a toy or playing with her fur sibling next to you. Sabrina does well with other dogs and can be around dog savvy cats. She has been around 2–4-year-old kids a few times and has done well with them. She knows how to sit when asked and is learning how to stay down. She is just so happy she cannot contain it sometimes. She sleeps in her human's bed at night with no accidents and when they are gone on an outing doggies cannot go on, she kennels up well (with a treat of course). Last thing about Sabrina, she also goes by Sabrina Carpenter. She tends to sing to you especially when she is being playful. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
