Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier. Hi there, I’m Thursday! I’m a young pitbull with a big heart and even bigger zoomies! If you’re looking for a playful, loving, and energetic best friend, I just might be your girl. I love to run, jump, and play, but I also have a lot to learn—so I need a patient human who’s ready to help me be my best self. I get along with some other dogs (I like to pick my friends), kids I should be fine around them. Cats I do not know at this time. Please considering in adopting me. To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at .HelpTheAnimalsINC/adopt.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
