Dog Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed. Hi friends!! I'm Goldo and I'm a year and a half old! I am an energetic boy that is looking for an active family! I’m a sweet boy who will need a family that is willing to wait to see my true personality. I will lay in your lap and let you love on me but it will take time. I seem to understand that I’m supposed to use the bathroom outside but may need a few reminders since I have been at the shelter awhile. I don’t seem to be interested in many toys but I do love my walks. Maybe when you take me home you can bring out more of my personality and get me playing with toys! Unfortunately, I was raised in a home where I was not socialized well as a puppy. Now don't let this deter you because shelter staff has been working hard to get me more socialized with lots of things, including playing with other dogs, meeting cats, going to public places, meeting strangers and having so much fun in all of these activities! However, shelter staff wanted to make my past transparent to the public to explain why I may be shy meeting new people and creating bonds.
