This sweet girl may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once she bonds with you, she’s a loyal and affectionate companion. She particularly adores her foster mom and has a special place in her heart for other dogs—she loves playing with them and would thrive in a home with a confident canine sibling. Sylvie has shown herself to be a gentle and friendly pup, even with the resident cat, and she gets along well with other animals. She’s also crate-trained and is making great strides with her house training, although she will benefit from a little more time and patience in her new home. Though Sylvie is still building her confidence, she's already learned the basics like “come” and “sit,” and she’s making wonderful progress with leash walking. With continued practice and a patient, understanding owner, she will only get better at both! In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term.
