Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Jack Russell Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Meet Jake! Jake is an 8 year old Chihuahua/ Jack Russel mix that is approximately 12 to 15 pounds. He’s very friendly and gets along with cats, dogs, and children. He even snuggles up with the kitty in his foster home. Jake is a Velcro dog and will want to be with his person as much as he can. He’s getting neutered, and vetted today. Jake does like to “mark his territory” in new place. Even though he is improving as he gets used to his foster home, Jake is wearing a belly band. Hopefully once he is neutered and with correction that does stop. Other than that he is an absolutely wonderful small dog. Jake is NOT at the Bedford County Animal Shelter! He is in foster care with Friends of Bedford County Animal Shelter.
