He is currently living with a wonderful foster who, due to illness, urgently needs to find him a new home. Copper loves being outside and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard. He is incredibly smart, catches on to things quickly, and adores toys and playing. Copper is food and treat motivated, making training fun and easy. He takes treats nicely and is doggie door trained and crate trained. Copper gets along well with other dogs 40 lbs or larger with proper and slow introductions. However, he needs a cat-free home. His behavior with children is currently unknown, so a family meet and greet is suggested. Copper is outgoing and loves attention, making him a perfect companion for an active family.
