Description
Dog Breed: Shepherd / Mixed. Hi there! I’m Debbie, and I can’t wait to meet you! I’m a sweet shepherd mix with the most beautiful fur and sparkling brown eyes! People say my eyes have a little twinkle of orange, which perfectly showcases my warm personality. I’m ready to find my forever home, and guess what? I’m already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on my vaccinations, so you know I’m all set to go! I may not be a puppy anymore—I’m around 6-7 years young—but I promise I’ve still got plenty of love and adventure to share! I’m the perfect balance of fun and relaxation. Whether you want to go for leisurely strolls or enjoy cozy cuddle sessions on the couch, I’m all in! I’ve even been kennel trained and can sit like a champion! One of my favorite things in the whole world is meeting new friends! There’s just something magical about making connections, and it really brings out my joyful spirit. I can't wait to show you all the love I have in my heart. Come meet me today—I promise you won't regret it! Let’s make some wonderful memories together! Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
