Walter is 5-months-old and 30 pounds of pure joy and puppy energy, ready to find his forever family! Walter has been quick to make himself right at home! He adjusts easily, so he has been doing well with crate training and settles quickly. He is still learning the ropes of potty training, using potty pads like a champ and making great progress with outdoor potty breaks. His treat-motivated, eager-to-please personality will make future training a breeze! Walter is a total lovebug, so he will be a great addition to a loving family. He is dog and kid-friendly, and will be happy to be by your side! This pup has plenty of energy and loves running around, playing with his beloved crinkle toys, chewing on a Kong, and going on walks. A true snow lover, Walter would make the perfect winter adventure buddy! While he’d thrive with a fenced yard for safe outdoor exercise, it’s not a dealbreaker if his new family provides him with an active lifestyle. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.
