Dog Breed: Bullmastiff / Mixed (short coat). We take the dogs that are adopted down...so if a dog is on the website they are available. Obedience training and fully fenced in yard is required for all our pups. Completion certificate for training needs to be emailed once complete. Axel is the perfect blend of playful and sweet, ready to fill your home with joy. This handsome boy loves running around the yard, showing off his tug-of-war skills, and chasing after balls. But when the fun winds down, he’s all about belly rubs and soaking up affection—he’s a true cuddle connoisseur. Axel is fantastic with kids and gets along wonderfully with female dogs. However, he’s not a fan of male dogs and would be best in a home where he can be the solo dog or with female dog friends. As for cats? We’re not sure yet, but his calm and intuitive nature tells us he could settle in with the right environment. Axel is a smart and polite boy who will let you know when he’s uncomfortable in the most gentle way. He’s not a barker or a troublemaker—he’s just the kind of dog who knows how to communicate his feelings with respect. Sadly, Axel has spent far too long in boarding, waiting patiently for someone to see how special he is. He’s been overlooked time and time again, but his heart remains full of hope. He’s ready to trade in his kennel for a cozy couch, a yard to play in, and a family to call his own. Not ready to adopt?
