Dog Breed: Shepherd / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed. Meet Anna B., aka Anna Banana! This sweet girl had a rough start—found as an 8-month-old puppy trying to survive on her own, with a collar painfully embedded in her neck. Thankfully, she was rescued, and her neck has fully healed! Anna is now ready to start a new chapter with a loving family. She’s incredibly smart, eager to learn, and would thrive with continued reward-based training to help build her confidence. She’s also full of playful energy! Anna loves tug-of-war, zooming around the yard, going on walks, and just having fun. If you think Anna might be your perfect match, fill out an application today—she can’t wait to meet you! We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogsccrcdogs with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at .ccrcdogs, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
