Description
Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Terrier (short coat). Pepper was found in a park along with her 3-two-week-old puppies. She did her very best to keep them fed and safe, digging a 3-foot-deep hole to protect them from the elements. Pepper and her pups found themselves at the local animal shelter for a few days before rescue came in to save them all! Pepper was able to decompress and raise her puppies in a foster home where she's really come into her own. She's slow to warm up to new friends but once she's comfortable, she's a total lover! She enjoys sunbathing and playing in the backyard along with the resident dogs. We don't think she's cat friendly; she chased one down the street once. She prefers not to be in a crate, but after a bit, she will settle. Pepper loves her people and enjoys snuggling in the bed at night. If you're looking for couch buddy to relax with while you binge your favorite series, Pepper might just be the one!
