Description

Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 200. Senior Peanut is looking for a fospice (foster/hospice) home to spend his remaining months/years. Peanut is about 15 years old and 9.5 lbs. Peanut sleeps much of the day, but does enjoy short, ambling walks and rides in his stroller. His favorite thing is mealtime and he always wakes up when it is about 45 minutes away. He also loves between meal snacks and a scritch behind the ears. Peanut no longer knows the difference between doing his business inside or outside, but when kept on a schedule of 5 5-minute-walks per day and a treat for every time he gets it right, he does quite well. When he is left alone, he needs to be in a pen so he doesn't go on a walkabout when no one is home.
