Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Australian Kelpie / Mixed. Meet Nebby! This sweetheart came into WAG's care in October when in the early stages of recovering from flea allergy dermatitis. In the time she's been in foster care, we've gotten to see her get healthier and see what a great companion she is. Nebby is a great companion in the home! When she's comfortable, she rarely barks. She is agile, a quick learner, and is very food motivated, so she will go as far with training as an adopter wants to go. She had little to no training before coming to her foster home, so she has been working on some puppy basics (despite being 2 years old). Walking on a leash is a challenge, but is manageable with a harness. She continues to need reminders to not counter and table surf. Nebby's ideal home would need a securely fenced yard (at least 5.5' tall), people that can continue working on her training, and either no other pets in the home or a laid-back dog. She has lived around kids and does well with gentle kids.
