Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Hound / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 150.00. Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog. We only adopt to areas within 125 mi. of Holly Springs MS. Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are a limited intake adoption center and a non-profit organization. Our animals have been spayed/neutered & are up to date on shots. Our standard Dog adoption fee is $150 which includes a microchip. We sometimes make exceptions to standard fee for those with extra medical care. Our Cat adoption fee is $95.00. Dogs will require a fenced yard. Labrador Retriever Max, is a loveable Labrador Retriever, who is an incredibly friendly and affectionate boy who has a heart full of love to share. He came to us with Millie who we think is his sibling. They are both very laid back, well behaved dogs about 1 to 2 years old. He is a bright and intelligent dog who is house trained, making him an ideal companion for a family. Any family will appreciate his gentle nature, resilience, and unwavering loyalty. He has undergone heartworm treatment and is now negative.
