Dog Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed (short coat). This sweet girl is looking for a home where she will get the love and attention she deserves. Through no fault of her own, Hennessey needs to find a new family to love - her previous owners just can't give her the time and attention she needs, between caring for a chronically ill family member and a brand new baby. This affectionate young lady has never lived with children but often spends time playing with her 10 year neighbors. Hennessey loves to play fetch and enjoys her toys. Because she can sometimes get a little over-excited when having fun, Hennessey would do best in a home with older/considerate children, as well as NO cats or very small animals. She does well with dogs at or around her size. She's accustomed to a fenced yard but does not require one, and enjoys walks with her person. Hennessey does well crated when home alone.
