Dog Breed: Border Collie / Mixed (medium coat). Adorable, fun loving Strudel is looking for his forever home. Strudel is a border collie mix. He’s just under a year old and about 50 pounds. Strudel is very friendly and very smart! He walks beautifully on a leash, knows many commands and is always happy to work for some treats! Strudel is full of personality and playful energy. He loves to play in the yard and is an expert at fetch. He’s also great at entertaining himself- just give him a few toys and he will show you what a happy playful boy he is. Our volunteers adore this young boy and try to give him a break from the shelter whenever they can. He’s great in the car, loves going for walks in the park, and is always ready for whatever adventure you’d like to take him on! It’s very hard for young dogs to live in a shelter. It’s even harder for smart, energetic ones like Strudel who need more stimulation than he’s getting in the shelter environment. Strudel would love a family (or person ) of his own to love! Strudel would do best with an active family that is willing to provide a little training, and plenty of exercise and love! A fenced yard would be a dream come true for him! Strudel is not reactive to other dogs and may be able to live with another playful pup. Strudel is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.
