Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Ace is a gentle, kind hearted dog who’s ready to find a loving home of his own. He’s a calm, easygoing companion who doesn’t ask for much: just a comfy spot to relax, some tasty treats, and a person to call his own. Ace may take a little time to build confidence in new situations, but with kindness and encouragement, he shines. He’s very treat-motivated (treats are definitely the key to his heart!) and knows how to sit on command. Ace walks beautifully on leash without pulling and has a lower energy level, making him a great match for someone who enjoys peaceful strolls or quiet time at home. He’s also done wonderfully in our shelter playgroups. He gets along well with other dogs and often looks to them for cues on how to play.
