Description
Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Khaleesa â a gentle, shy girl whoâs slowly learning that the world isnât such a scary place after all. When Khaleesa first arrived, she was unsure of everything â but sheâs come a long way. These days, sheâll let you leash her up easily, walk calmly by your side, and even enjoy a few zoomies in the play yard! Sheâs most comfortable in familiar places, where her sweet personality starts to shine through. She even sits for treats (which she takes so gently!) and will happily accept soft pets, even if sheâs still a little shy. Khaleesa is calm, low energy, and polite. Sheâs the kind of dog who takes her time to observe and feel safe before opening up. When sheâs in new environments, she can be timid and reserved, but she continues to make quiet, steady progress every day. From her previous foster home we know that Khaleesa is potty trained, gets along well with other dogs, and forms strong bonds once she feels secure. Sheâs not a dog whoâll greet you with instant enthusiasm, but when she finally chooses you as her person, itâs pure magic. If you appreciate patience, gentle souls, and the beauty of small victories Khaleesa is ready to meet you!

Breed overview
Overview:
The Sheprador, a popular crossbreed resulting from the union of a German Shepherd Dog and a Labrador Retriever, embodies many desirable traits from both parent breeds. Originating from designer breed efforts to combine the intelligence of the German Shepherd with the Labrador's friendly disposition, these dogs typically boast a medium to large build with a dense, weather-resistant coat that can range in color. Physically, they often exhibit the Shepherd’s strong bone structure and the Lab’s kind eyes. Temperamentally, Shepradors are generally intelligent, loyal, and trainable, making them excellent companions for active families. They thrive on human interaction and do best in homes with a yard, as their energy levels make apartment living challenging without significant daily exercise. While generally healthy, potential health considerations include hip and elbow dysplasia, common to both parent breeds, and eye conditions. Early socialization and consistent training are key to fostering a well-adjusted Sheprador.
