Because of his lack of training and tendency to be stubborn, Goofy cannot be in a home with children though he gets along well with other dogs. He needs a calm, adult-only environment where he can feel safe and secure. A single-family home or townhome would be ideal, giving him space to settle in comfortably. Goofy will need an owner committed to working with a professional dog trainer to help him build confidence and learn good manners. With time, consistency, and love, Goofy has the potential to be a wonderful companion.
