Dog Breed: Boxer. 03/30/2025 Ace IV is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Ace IV ! I am a handsome 6 year old flashy brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to a change in my family dynamics/moving and they are not able to provide me with the attention I need. I am described as friendly, active, smart, protective, noisy, playfu, affectionate, nervous, and obedient! I am protective of my family and don't do well meeting other dogs but am fine with the current animals in my home. I currently live with three kids (ages 8-12 years) and do fine with them. I have never lived with a cat so it is uncertain if I am feline friendly. I am house trained, crate trained, and at night I sleep with the kids in their beds. I do not like going on a leash for a walk and would benefit from proper leash training. I was sent to training 5 years ago but don't remember a thing, so having someone that can help me learn proper manners would be beneficial! If the humans must be away from the home, I am crated and do fine. When outside I do not dig but can jump over the fence so proper supervision is needed. I am afraid of fireworks but love riding in the car, snuggling in the human's lap, and my stuffed raccoon toy! My current owner says I am a "great dog and part of the family" and I would agree!
