Dog Breed: Hound / Great Pyrenees / Mixed. Meet Fettuccine! Fettuccine is a gorgeous 1 ½-year-old hound mix weighing in at a perfect 50 lbs. This sweet girl may be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she turns into the sweetest snuggle buddy. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and sleeps soundly through the night in her crate. Fettuccine also does wonderfully with other dogs—she adores the pup in her foster home and loves playing all day long! Her ideal home would be with someone who is around more often than not, since she has grown to love being close to her people. In general, Fettuccine also does much better with women than men. While not required, she would be thrilled to have a doggy sibling to play with. A fenced yard would be a plus for her, and probably most ideal—she also walks very nicely on a leash. Fettuccine would thrive with an active family who enjoys the outdoors. She loves going on hikes and long walks, where she can stretch her legs and get her energy out. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting. Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match.
