Description
Dog Breed: Belgian Shepherd Malinois (short coat). Yah-ah-Teh, my name is Lori Little Deer because I’m as sweet as can be. I’m a laid back girl that is adjusting to life being a jailbird. I must be Native American since I’m trying to be so brave. Yeah,I have a beautiful coat and the kindest eyes, I’m a looker all right. So don’t wait until the Pow Wow is over and get this ball of fluff. Here is what the crew has to say about me: Lori is kind and friendly. She is a cute girl that is 6 years old and is 45 pounds. Lori gets along with other dogs too. She will make a great addition to a loving household and she would like to be the center of your world! Please call Faustina at 806-664-1615 since she can give you details about the animals! If you call the Pampa animal shelter please refer to the animals by their number listed after the names. Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
