Description
Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier. Ellie is an intelligent, strong, beautiful, and independent girl. Ellie is an adult dog who enjoys long walks, midday naps, and chewing on hard bones. She has a strong prey drive and is very tenacious when trying to go after small animals, but is otherwise a wonderful walk. Ellie is neutral to everything else we come across on a walk, and enjoys stopping and taking a good sniff! Ellie takes time to warm up to people, but once she does, she enjoys back scratches and will bark for attention. Ellie would do best in an adult-only (possibly older teens) home as an only pet. To meet our fabulous pets, stop by Somerset Regional Animal Shelter, 100 Commons Way in Bridgewater, NJ. We're open daily 12-3:30pm, no appointment necessary!
