Description
Dog Breed: Mastiff / Mixed. COURTESY LISTING This dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for TUG. Please visit aarf-tn/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply. Meet Tug, an 80-pound Mastiff mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality! At just one year old, Tug is still a playful puppy at heart, full of goofy charm and boundless enthusiasm. With his classic Mastiff jowls and short brown and white coat, he’s as handsome as he is lovable. Tug is a happy, sweet-natured boy who gets along great with people, kids, and other dogs. While he hasn’t spent much time around cats, he doesn’t seem to mind them. He’s an office-friendly pup who listens well enough to hang out at work without causing trouble. This big guy is eager to please and already knows commands like sit, lay, and shake—he’s currently working on mastering “stay.” Tug is likely housetrained, as he hasn’t had any accidents in his current environment. He’s great on a leash but, being a strong and excitable boy, he can pull when something catches his attention. He loves hopping into the car and should make a great travel companion. When he’s not snuggling up for affection, Tug enjoys romping around, playing with sticks, and showing off his silly, endearing personality. Tug would thrive in a home that can provide him with love, structure, and daily exercise. He’d love a family that appreciates his goofy side and is willing to continue his training to help him be the best pup he can be. If you’re looking for a big, lovable goofball to bring joy and laughter into your life, Tug might just be your perfect match! Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: aarf-tn/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: aarf-tn/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) aarf-tn/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
