Dog Breed: Boxer / American Bulldog / Mixed (medium coat). Abner is a senior boxer/bulldog who still has plenty of pep in his step. When people approach, Abnerâs whole body wiggles in excitement to greet. He enjoys going for walks and sniffing around new environments. Abner would thrive as the only dog in a home but can walk by dogs out in the world. If you need some sunshine in your life â come meet Abner today! Abner's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous donor! Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
