Diesel is a young, brindle, Pitbull Terrier mix whose striking coat makes him a walking piece of art, but his looks are just the beginning. This boy is bursting with personality, energy, and heart. He's the kind of dog who dives headfirst into life (literally, he lives for swimming!). On a recent day out with one of our amazing volunteers, Diesel truly shined. He was calm and content in the car, social and well-mannered with people, and full of joy every step of the way. Toy Obsessed: Diesel will always choose a jolleyball over a treat. He plays with nonstop enthusiasm and needs durable toys to keep up with his joyful, vigorous playstyle. Sploot Master: When he lays down, he's in a full sploot 90% of the time! Whether it’s in the kennel or out in the grass, this goofball flops down like it's his signature move, and he'll even army-crawl across the ground for extra flair. Strong on Leash: Diesel is a powerful pup who pulls when excited. He's smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn, so with consistent, positive training, he'll absolutely improve. Prey Drive Alert: Diesel does have a strong interest in squirrels and other small critters, so a cat-free home and attentive handling outdoors will be best for him.
