Dog Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier. Zara is a beautiful 2-3 year old girl who was brought in by Animal Control as a stray. It took days for her to decompress and learn we were there to help her, kindness she likely had never been shown before. Once Zara had this epiphany she’s been a loving and sweet girl since. She’s in a temporary foster home learning what a safe home is, but it didn’t take long for her to find the couch and want to snuggle up on it. She thrives with guidance and reassurance, walks closely on leash, and LOVES snacks. She enjoys the companionship of her foster parents and would thrive in a calm home. She has made great strides towards her recovery, and we couldn’t be more proud of her. We hope someone will be interested in meeting her so she doesn’t have to be back at the kennel for too long.
