Description
Dog Breed: Black Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Pleiades means a cluster of bright blue luminous stars or another name is the Seven Sisters. Well, there are more then seven of us pooches but I want to be the first little star to get adopted out of the bunch! I’m am a delicate featured and sweet pup. I’m quiet so I hope I don’t get overlooked!! I will illuminate any household and I promise I won’t be too much trouble! So won’t you be my Orion and come get me? Here is what the crew has to say about me: Nova is a 10 month old doll that is social and outgoing. Love her little white mittens! She is as sweet as can be. She likes to be around other pups too! Just can't understand why she hasn't been adopted yet! Please call Faustina at 806-664-1615 since she can give you details about the animals! If you call the Pampa animal shelter please refer to the animals by their number listed after the names. Thank you for you cooperation!

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
