Eartha came to us as an Owner Surrender due to her mom going into the military. Since coming to SSRR, has done great adjusting to her new environment. She has learned how to behave in a pack. But she would also be happy as the only dog in a household as well. She LOVES her long walks and opportunities to run. She has no problem sleeping in her crate all night. She walks well on her leash and knows her commands: sit, stay, come. Eartha does great meeting other people and children. As with any Rottie, she loves to 'lean in' on you and does not know her own strength. Eartha is going to make someone a great dog! She has been introduced to chickens and a pig. She does like to chase the chickens but once she has it cornered she walks away. Good girl! Step 3: After you have received confirmation from our Lead Adoption Coordinator, your application will then be forwarded to communicate with one of our Adoption Coordinators. The Adoption Coordinator is your point of contact during the adoption process. Step 4: Once the Adoption Coordinator has finished processing your application, a volunteer will be selected to contact you to schedule a home visit. Home visits allow us to see where the dog will live, discuss any questions you have and review our adoption contract. Step 5: Once the application process is completed, the adoption package goes to the board of directors for a 24 hour review.
