Dog Breed: American Bulldog / Terrier / Mixed. Meet Feta – Small but Mighty! Hi there! I’m Feta – just like the cheese – and I’m a 4-year-old American Bulldog mix with a big personality packed into a compact frame. I may be small, but don’t let that fool you—I’m full of energy, heart, and love! I thrive on activity and adventure, whether it’s going on three walks a day, hiking the trails (as long as it’s not too hot!), or playing in the yard. I haven't got a classic “smooshy” face but heat is not my friend, so my person will need to help me pace myself in the heat—but I promise to give it my all! Chew toys? Obsessed. Playing with people? Absolutely. Fetch? I’m still figuring out the “bring it back” part, but I’m getting there! And wait until you see my vertical jump—my foster mom says I must be part bunny. (Baby gates? Please. I can clear them easily.) I’m not the biggest cuddler, but I love giving kisses and being near my people. I get along well with most dogs I’ve met, but I’d probably do best as your one-and-only or with a calm, submissive dog—especially if you’re an experienced dog owner. Long days with another high-energy dog can be a little too much for me! I’m crate-trained, house-trained, and sleep soundly in my crate overnight. I know basic commands like sit, down, shake, and I’m working hard on “stay.” I may bark a little when you leave, but I settle down quickly. I’m looking for an active, loving person or family who’s ready to share life’s adventures with me.
