Breed: Great Pyrenees Mix Estimated DOB: 01/12/2022 Sex: Female (spayed) Weight: 68 lbs Currently up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations Things To Know about Paisley: Rescued from a shelter in Mississippi with her 7 puppies Mom to "Paisley's Poppets" Breed or similar breed experience required to adopt Timid but warming up to new people and environments Good with kids and becoming more comfortable with new people Like a Pyr, Paisley is often aloof & independent but getting more affectionate off crate rest Very sweet and loving personality with a constant smile Calm temperament and easy-going nature, but can be mischievous around food Very easy to care for, doesn't ask for much Does great on a leash and enjoys walking around the neighborhood - especially confident when with other dogs Gets nervous around bikes and other things with wheels (not cars) Enjoys napping on the couch with her people but prefers cooler floors Will give you the classic "Pyr paw" when she wants pets May cuddle for a few minutes but values her independence Sometimes comes when called - typical Pyr selective listening! Loves to be outside, especially in cooler temperatures or will curl up in the shade Absolutely loves swimming and will playfully chomp at the water Loves adventures and outings - perfect hiking companion Takes about 2 days to warm up in new environments but settles in beautifully Needs patience with grooming (baths and nail trims) but stays gentle May bark initially when meeting new people but settles quickly Housebroken Crate trained!
