Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Genesee County Dog - Candy is a 45-pound petite Pit Bull mix. As you might expect, she is a very sweet and gentle girl. She is good on a leash and loves going for walks. She also loves playtime with her friend Eddie. When playtime is over, though, Candy loves to snuggle. Walking by your side or sitting in your lap, Candy is waiting to share her sweetness with you. Candy is currently at the Shelter. And she will be spayed prior to adoption. Here is the adoption process: To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $60 fee for any animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. All cats must leave in a carrier. Thank you for considering a homeless animal.
