He has made some great doggy friends too. Buzz may be hearing impaired, but that doesn’t affect his shining personality and fun-loving spirit. He already knows some doggy sign language, thanks to the wonderful volunteers that work with him every day. Buzz is about 6 months old. In case you didn’t know . . . Hearing Impaired Dogs Are: Highly trainable. They are unfazed by sounds that make most dogs afraid. No need to worry about Buzz being afraid of thunderstorms or fireworks. The other senses of hearing-impaired dogs make up for their hearing loss. Buzz uses his sense of smell, feels vibrations, and has excellent vision. BUZZ HEARS WITH HIS HEART.
