Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Jack Russell Terrier / Mixed. Glowy is a shy girl who’s been through a lot and is still learning that the world—and people—can be safe. Her foster family describes her as sweet but very timid. She’s still unsure about affection and will submissively pee when she gets nervous or overwhelmed. While she allows pets and touches, Glowy remains hand-shy and will need a very patient, understanding adopter who’s willing to give her all the time and space she needs to feel safe. Glowy prefers the indoors and doesn’t like to go outside much, but she will use pee pads or go out in a fenced yard. She gets along fine with other dogs, as long as they respect her space and let her be. She’s not the kind of pup who will immediately run into your arms—but she is the kind of pup who, over time, might show you the quietest, most beautiful kind of trust.
