Dog Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. Don’t let her age fool you—Dakota may be 9, but she’s got the spirit (and zoomies) of a much younger pup! This lovely Shepherd/Lab mix is the total package: sweet, calm, playful, and ready to find her forever home. Dakota is friendly with every human she meets, but can be picky about her dog friends. She would do best as the only pup in her forever home. Dakota walks like a pro on leash and is the perfect blend of relaxed and active - happy to lounge quietly or join you for a walk and a little playtime. She's gentle, well-mannered, crate trained and housebroken. Her foster family describes her as "just the perfect girl" - and once you meet her, you’ll see exactly why. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who still has plenty of pep in her step, Dakota is ready to bring joy, love, and tail wags into your life! Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
