Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Border Collie / Mixed. Hi, I'm Violet! I was adopted when I was 12 weeks old, but was recently surrendered by my owner through no fault of my own. I'm a sweet, friendly, and goofy 1-year-old mutt, weighing 45 pounds. I love to cuddle and be around my people. My mom is a lab/beagle mix, and my dad is a border collie/lab mix. My foster says that I am a good girl, and I enjoy going for car rides! I'm housebroken and do well free roaming; I don't like crates. I need a home with older children since I can jump. A fenced-in yard is required. Although I love to walk, I pull and need leash training. I need companionship, so I also need a home where someone is home more. I tend to bolt when doors open, so a storm door and caution are essential. If you let me off leash, I will run....so no off leash for me. I'm spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. My adoption fee is $150, and I’m located in Crown Point, Indiana.
