Description
Dog Breed: Terrier. Kyle is a 2 year old male that is a delight to be around. Hes one of those dogs that is always happy, happy. He loves people very much and can crawl up in your lap so quietly that he is there before you even know it. He loves to play with other dogs and even plays with the cats that will tolerate him. He can be high energy but he also has chillin on the couch down pat. He is kennel trained and will run to his kennel and await his treat with no problems. He is not a chewer or destructive.

In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
